Does Wordle use plurals?

Yes, Wordle answers can be plural, but only irregular plural nouns like "fungi" (plural of "fungus") or "geese" (plural of "goose"). Regular plural nouns (those formed by simply adding "s" or "es" to a singular noun) are allowed as guesses in Wordle but they will never be the answer in Wordle.

For example, words like "foxes" or "spots" will never be the Wordle answer but irregular plural nouns like "geese" or "fungi" can be used as answers in the future. "foxes" and "spots" can still be used as guesses to eliminate letters.
